Transportation Manager

Transportation Manager – UAEHRify is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the UAE.We are looking for an experienced Transportation Manager with strong expertise in heavy truck operations, port transportation, fleet management, and daily logistics operations.The ideal candidate should be able to manage the complete transportation operation — from port-to-port and port-related movements to driver management, fleet efficiency, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Manage and supervise daily heavy truck transportation operations.Coordinate port-to-port and port-related transportation activities.Manage, monitor, and coordinate drivers and vehicle assignments.Optimize routes, fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and operational costs.Ensure efficient and cost-effective fleet operations.Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, inspections, and repair requirements.Ensure compliance with UAE road transport, heavy vehicle, safety, and operational regulations.Coordinate with ports, customers, drivers, workshops, and other operational teams.Monitor vehicle performance and minimize downtime.Handle operational issues and ensure smooth day-to-day transportation activities.Requirements:Proven experience as a Transportation Manager, Fleet Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role in the UAE.Strong experience with heavy trucks and commercial transportation.Port transportation / port-to-port operations experience is highly preferred.Strong driver and fleet management skills.Good understanding of heavy truck maintenance and vehicle servicing.Strong knowledge of UAE transportation and road regulations.Strong operational, problem-solving, and cost-control skills.Experience in logistics, transportation, construction, or related industries is an advantage.UAE driving license is preferred.
