Travellers Delight also specializes in short weekend getaways, aiming to be a one-stop shop for convenient, enjoyable travel experiences.Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Panchkula. In this position, the consultant will interact with customers to understand their travel requirements, suggest suitable destinations and itineraries, and provide expert advice on flights, hotels, and holiday packages. Daily responsibilities include managing travel bookings, handling reservations and cancellations, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation. The role involves delivering responsive customer service, resolving travel-related issues, and keeping updated with airline schedules, hotel offerings, and promotional packages. The Travel Consultant will also contribute to improving internal processes and maintaining clear records of all travel arrangements.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, including itinerary planning and destination guidance.Candidates should possess skills in handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, such as flight, hotel, and package bookings.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage inquiries, address concerns, and provide clear, courteous communication.Proficiency with booking platforms, GDS or relevant reservation systems, and basic MS Office tools.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously.Good verbal and written communication skills in English; additional local languages are an advantage.Prior experience in a travel agency or travel consulting role is preferred but not mandatory.Relevant diploma or degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
