Travel Consultant

We are seeking a professional Travel Agent / Reservation & Ticketing Officer to manage travel bookings, airline ticketing, cruise reservations, and customer travel arrangements. The ideal candidate should have experience using travel reservation systems (GDS), excellent customer service skills, and strong English communication abilities.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle domestic and international flight reservations and ticket issuance.Manage cruise bookings, amendments, cancellations, and itinerary changes.Advise customers on travel options, schedules, fares, visa requirements, and travel regulations.Process ticket reissues, refunds, exchanges, and fare calculations.Use reservation systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or other GDS platforms.Coordinate with airlines, cruise operators, hotels, and travel suppliers.Prepare travel itineraries and provide clients with all required travel documentation.Ensure all bookings are completed accurately and within company standards.Follow up with customers before and after travel to ensure satisfaction.Maintain booking records and generate reservation reports when required.Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and walk-in visits.Support corporate travel and group travel bookings when needed.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 2-5 years of experience in travel agencies, airlines, tourism companies, or cruise reservations.Experience in airline ticketing and travel reservations.Knowledge of international travel procedures and fare rules.Required SkillsProficiency in Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or other GDS systems.Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).Excellent customer service and sales skills.Ability to handle multiple bookings simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Preferred QualificationsIATA certification.Cruise reservation experience.Knowledge of visa processing and travel insurance.Arabic and English bilingual.KPIsBooking accuracy rate.Customer satisfaction score.Ticket issuance turnaround time.Revenue generated from travel and cruise bookings.Number of booking errors and customer complaints.
