This role sits at the intersection of markets execution, liquidity management, and risk oversight - requiring a commercially minded, bilingual professional who can operate confidently across a broad range of instruments while managing relationships with both internal stakeholders and external counterparties.Role DescriptionThis role involves executing money market and treasury trading activities, managing short-term liquidity, and supporting daily cash flow and funding requirements. The Treasury Dealer will monitor market conditions, analyze financial data, and provide timely input on interest rates, foreign exchange and investment opportunities. Responsibilities include preparing regular reports on treasury positions and risks, coordinating with internal finance teams and external banking partners, and ensuring all transactions comply with relevant policies and regulations. Proficiency in Chinese - Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and counterparties.Job ResponsibilitiesExecute treasury transactions across FX (spot, forward, swap), Money Market, Time Deposits, Bonds/Bills, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), and Cross-Currency Swaps (CCS)Monitor global and regional financial markets using Bloomberg, Refinitiv Workspace, and other relevant data sourcesMaintain and update the branch's daily cash flow projections and liquidity positionsMonitor liquidity gaps and ensure all indicators remain within limits set by the CBUAE and Head OfficeMonitor interest rate risk and FX risk exposures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal thresholdsBuild and maintain relationships with counterparties including banks and brokersSupport the Department Head on ad hoc treasury projects and regulatory requirements as neededRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred)Minimum 3 years of experience in Treasury, Global Markets, or Financial Markets executionExperience at a GCC-based is strongly preferredFluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is requiredProficiency in Bloomberg Terminal and/or Refinitiv WorkspaceCFA, FRM, ACCA, or CPA certification is an advantage
