Treasury Director

Treasury DirectorWe are partnering with a growing organization in RTP who is seeking a Treasury Director to lead treasury operations with a focus on liquidity management, cash and investment oversight, banking relationships, risk management, and treasury governance. This position will play a critical role in safeguarding company assets, optimizing cash flow, managing funding structures, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate will bring deep treasury expertise, strong financial acumen, and the ability to partner across Finance, Investments, Legal, Risk, and executive leadership in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and capital deployment strategies.Manage banking relationships and evaluate treasury and cash management solutions to improve efficiency and controls.Monitor cash positions and short-term liquidity needs to support operational and strategic objectives.Oversee asset custody arrangements, settlement activities, and related treasury operations.Manage collateral, margin, and other treasury-related funding requirements.Assist with the implementation, optimization, and administration of treasury management systems.Support the evaluation and management of credit facilities, borrowing structures, and other sources of capital.Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and treasury governance standards.Maintain a strong internal control environment, including segregation of duties, access management, and asset protection procedures.Prepare treasury-related reporting, analyses, and presentations for executive leadership, lenders, board members, auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.Partner cross-functionally with accounting, finance, legal, risk, and operational teams to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.Lead treasury-related process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.10+ years of progressive treasury experience.CPA, CFA, MBA, CTP, or related professional certification preferred.Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, banking operations, treasury controls, and capital management.Experience managing complex banking relationships and external financial partners.Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and driving operational improvements.Prior leadership or people management experience preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience interacting with senior leadership.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, treasury platforms, and financial systems.What We're Looking ForA strategic and hands-on treasury leader who can balance day-to-day execution with long-term planning.Strong business partner capable of influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage competing priorities.A proactive problem solver who continuously seeks process improvements and operational efficiencies.A leader committed to strong governance, controls, and financial stewardship.By submitting to this position, you are agreeing to be included in our talent pool for future hiring for similarly qualified positions.Equal Opportunity NoticeHighspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) and its parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries ("we," "our," or "Vaco by Highspring") are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race (including but not limited to traits historically associated with race such as hair texture and hair style), color, sex (includes pregnancy or related conditions), religion or creed, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, status as a veteran, union membership, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, political affiliation, or any other protected characteristics as required by applicable law.
