This role is critical to protecting the company’s financial flexibility and working capital efficiency, partnering closely with the CFO and Finance leadership.What You’ll DoMonitor and manage the company’s daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow and overall liquidity positionBuild and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure credit lines, revolving credit facilities, and alternative financingSource and negotiate credit/financing on favorable terms whenever the company needs capitalIdentify and deploy idle cash into appropriate short-term investment instruments (deposits, money market funds, treasury bills, etc.)Monitor interest rate and FX exposure, and recommend hedging strategies where appropriateDevelop and maintain cash management policies, procedures, and controlsPrepare and present regular treasury reports to the CFO and senior leadership (cash position, credit utilization, investment returns)Partner with FP&A and Accounting on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning from a treasury perspectiveEnsure treasury operations comply with internal controls and relevant regulatory requirementsWhat You’ll Bring5-7+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or bankingBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s, CFA, or CTP a plus)Proven, established network with banks and financial institutions, with a track record of securing credit and financingStrong knowledge of cash management, short-term investment instruments, and corporate financing structuresStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel/financial modeling abilityExcellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience with ERP/treasury management systems (e.g., SAP, Kyriba) a plusOur Values at FreshDirectWe live these values every day:A Passion for our customersOur customers are at the heart of everything we do.
