TRILINGUAL ASL/SPANISH/ENGLISH INTERPRETERFull-Time Position | Burbank Area, CaliforniaAlpha Interpreting Agency is seeking a qualified and professional Trilingual ASL/Spanish/English Interpreter for a full-time educational assignment in the Burbank area, California.This position requires proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), Spanish, and English to provide effective communication access in an educational setting. We are looking for an interpreter who is professional, reliable, adaptable, and committed to supporting full participation and accessibility.POSITION DETAILSLocation: Burbank Area, CASchedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 2:30 PMHours: Approximately 30-35 hours per weekAssignment Dates: 2026-2027 School YearPay Rate: $60-$90 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualificationsEmployment Type: Full TimeRESPONSIBILITIESProvide interpreting services between ASL, Spanish, and English as required by the assignment.Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, families, and other individuals in the educational environment.Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, meetings, activities, and student interactions.Support communication access so students can participate fully in the educational environment.Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional boundaries.Follow applicable professional interpreting standards and the RID Code of Professional Conduct.Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and clear communication with Alpha Interpreting Agency.QUALIFICATIONSTrilingual proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), Spanish, and English required.Certification required: NIC, EIPA (4.0+) or equivalent.Strong receptive and expressive communication skills across all three languages.Previous interpreting experience preferred.Educational interpreting experience preferred.Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries in an educational setting.Must meet required school district background and employment clearances.ABOUT ALPHA INTERPRETING AGENCYAlpha Interpreting Agency is committed to supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and the educational professionals who serve them.
