Working in this environment offers long-term career opportunities and exposure to large, complex projects.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Mechanic role based in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia. The Truck Mechanic will perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy trucks and related vehicles, including inspections, servicing, and replacement of worn parts. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; carrying out repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other systems; and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards. The role involves using diagnostic tools, reading technical manuals, maintaining accurate service records, and coordinating with supervisors and drivers to minimize vehicle downtime. The mechanic is expected to keep the workshop organized, follow company safety procedures, and support fleet readiness for continuous operations.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Heavy Equipment servicing.Candidates should possess solid abilities in Equipment Maintenance and Equipment Repair across truck systems.Candidates should possess practical Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.Relevant technical diploma or certification in automotive or diesel mechanics is preferred.Experience working with heavy trucks, construction vehicles, or commercial fleets is an advantage.Knowledge of workplace safety standards and ability to use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work on-site in Jiddah in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
