This position supports teaching activities by conducting tutorial sessions, assisting in laboratory demonstrations, and guiding students through coursework and practical exercises. The Tutorial Assistant helps prepare teaching materials, supports assessment processes, and provides academic support to students through consultations and feedback. The role also involves collaborating with faculty on curriculum delivery, maintaining orderly learning environments, and contributing to continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.Qualifications Strong foundational knowledge in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, or a closely related health sciences discipline.Demonstrated ability to facilitate tutorials, support laboratory sessions, and explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and inclusively with diverse student groups.Good organizational and time-management abilities, including meeting deadlines, preparing teaching materials, and maintaining accurate records.Proficiency in basic computer applications and educational technologies used for teaching, presentations, and student support.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant field; additional certifications or postgraduate studies are an added advantage.Commitment to academic integrity, student mentorship, collaborative teamwork, and continuous professional development.
