With plans to expand into Puerto Rico and the broader Caribbean, Seaborne offers aviation professionals the opportunity to grow with a unique and mission-driven carrier.Role Description The Twin Engine Seaplane Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Twin Otter seaplanes on scheduled and charter flights, including harbor-to-harbor operations in the Caribbean. Day-to-day duties include conducting thorough preflight and postflight inspections, planning and supervising flight operations, managing crew coordination, and ensuring compliance with FAR Part 121 and company procedures. The Captain oversees passenger safety briefings, maintains high standards of customer service, and makes sound operational decisions in varying weather and sea conditions. Additional responsibilities include accurate flight documentation, participation in recurrent training, and collaboration with dispatch, maintenance, and ground personnel. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United States, with primary operations in the U.S. Virgin Islands.Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in twin-engine aircraft operations, preferably with experience in DHC-6 Twin Otter or similar turbine aircraft.Strong seaplane and water operations skills, including takeoff and landing on open water, docking, and handling variable sea and weather conditions.Comprehensive knowledge of FAR Part 121 regulations, standard operating procedures, and aviation safety practices.Excellent crew resource management, communication, and leadership abilities to coordinate with flight crew, ground staff, and dispatch.Proven customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear passenger briefings and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land rating; Seaplane rating and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate strongly preferred.Minimum flight-hour requirements as established by Seaborne Airlines and regulatory authorities, with recent relevant experience in commercial operations.Ability to work in an on-site, island-based environment with flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.Strong situational awareness, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in dynamic
