UAE National - EHS Officer

Job PurposeSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.Ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational health and safety standards.Deliver EHS inductions, awareness sessions, and safety training for employees.Monitor emergency preparedness activities, including drills and evacuation procedures.Maintain EHS records, reports, and documentation.Promote a strong safety culture through continuous communication and employee engagement.Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities on EHS-related matters.Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and workplace safety practices.QualificationsBachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.ExperienceMinimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in Environment, Health & Safety.Experience within education, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or government sectors is an advantage.Preferred QualificationsProfessional EHS certification is preferred, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or an equivalent Health & Safety certification.Required SkillsKnowledge of UAE EHS regulations and international safety standards.Risk assessment and hazard identification.Incident investigation and reporting.Emergency response planning.Strong communication and training skills.Report writing and documentation.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.This version is concise, professional, and easy to summer
