Apply & track with Apply EdgeKuwait City, Kuwait |On-site| Full-timeExperience: 4–8 yearsWe are hiring a UI/UX Design Analyst to help simplify complex, high-stakes workflows for public institutions and regulated enterprises across Kuwait and the GCC.This is not a role for someone who only decorates screens. You will work with courts, registries, regulators, banks, healthcare teams, legal operations, and other institutional clients to understand how work actually happens, then turn decades of exceptions, approvals, legacy systems, paper processes, and undocumented rules into clear, usable digital experiences. You will be responsible for discovery, service mapping, workflow simplification, bilingual Arabic/English interface design, AI-assisted prototyping, stakeholder facilitation, and carrying designs through to delivery. What You’ll DoRun discovery with SMEs, front-line users, and senior stakeholders.Reverse-engineer complex business rules from legacy screens, forms, spreadsheets, and exception logs.Create service blueprints, swimlanes, decision tables, state flows, role matrices, and edge-case inventories.Simplify multi-step, multi-department workflows into usable digital journeys.Design for real operating conditions: shared devices, keyboard-first users, high-volume data entry, intermittent connectivity, and legacy constraints.Create bilingual Arabic/English experiences with proper RTL handling, date formats, naming conventions, and accessibility.Build clickable prototypes quickly using modern design, diagramming, AI, and code-assisted tools.Facilitate workshops, focus groups, usability sessions, and validation walkthroughs.Work closely with architects, developers, and testers so the final product reflects the validated design.Specify interaction states, validation rules, error behavior, permissions, audit visibility, print/export layouts, and security-sensitive flows. What We’re Looking For4–8 years of experience in product, service, or enterprise experience design.Strong portfolio showing complex workflow simplification, not just polished final screens.Experience in regulated domains such as government, legal/judicial, banking, insurance, healthcare, or similar.Proven ability to facilitate workshops and work directly with SMEs and senior stakeholders.Strong command of Figma or equivalent tools, including components, variables, and design systems.Confidence using AI-assisted design, prototyping, synthesis, and diagramming tools responsibly.Ability to read API contracts, data models, ERDs, and work within integration or legacy-system constraints.Excellent written communication and interface copy skills.Willingness to be based in Kuwait and spend meaningful time on client premises.Strongly PreferredWorking Arabic and experience designing Arabic/English bilingual RTL interfaces.Experience with legacy systems such as AS/400, IBM i, mainframe, green-screen, or heavily customized ERP environments.Prior work with GCC public-sector entities, ministries, regulators, courts, or central authorities.Familiarity with digital identity, e-signature, e-seal, trust services, accessibility, and public-sector digital standards.Front-end literacy in HTML, CSS, and enough JavaScript to build or adapt working prototypes.Experience with analytics, task-completion analysis, benchmarking, or mentoring junior designers. How We WorkYou will join small, high-ownership teams working on ambiguous, deadline-driven transformation projects. You will not always receive a clean requirements document. You will be expected to ask the right questions, uncover the real process, challenge unnecessary complexity, and make a clear case for better design decisions.Because our clients handle sensitive records, personal data, judicial information, and legally binding instruments, security and integrity are part of the design process from the beginning. We use AI tooling heavily, but responsibly. Client data does not go into unapproved tools, generated output is reviewed before use.Assessment ProcessPortfolio review with 2–3 deep case studies.Working session on a complex workflow simplification problem.Short facilitation exercise with multiple stakeholder perspectives.Discussion of your AI-assisted design practice and guardrails.ApplyIf you are a designer who enjoys untangling complex institutional workflows, simplifying regulated processes, and building practical digital services that people can actually use, we would like to hear from you.
