UI / UX designer

Company Description KarbunWise is a sustainability solutions company that enables businesses to take climate action with clarity and confidence. The organization combines expert advisory services with a cloud-based platform to make sustainability measurable, manageable, and meaningful.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site UI/UX Designer role based in Hyderabad. The UI/UX Designer will collaborate with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to design intuitive interfaces for KarbunWise’s sustainability software platform. Responsibilities include translating user and business requirements into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, and refining visual design elements to create cohesive, accessible user experiences. We have a range of mature products, but some of them need a fresh look to revamp the UI in a way it feels fresh / different. In essence we want the person in this role to answer - how can I give a modern, functional product a completely fresh / distinctive edge through design.QualificationsStrong user experience design (UED) skills, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design.Previous SaaS platform experience is mandatoryProficiency in creating mockups and visual design assets using modern design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Figma is a must..Experience in building interactive prototypes and conducting usability testing to validate design decisions.Working knowledge of front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.Ability to communicate design decisions clearly, work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects.Interest or experience in sustainability, climate tech, or ESG solutions is an advantage.
