The platform is built for students, academics, and professionals who want to make research more transparent, efficient, and collaborative.Role Description The Undergraduate Research Assistant role at Atlas Workspace is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. In this role, the assistant will help evaluate and organize academic papers, annotate key findings, and support the creation of structured research summaries within the Atlas Workspace platform. Day-to-day tasks include conducting literature searches, assembling and cleaning data sets, assisting with basic data analysis, and preparing clear documentation of methods and results. The assistant will collaborate with researchers and product team members, contribute to usability testing of the platform, and help refine workflows that make research more understandable and reproducible.Qualifications Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret research findings and identify patterns.Research experience, including conducting literature reviews and working with academic sources.Effective communication skills for presenting results, writing summaries, and collaborating with team members.Basic laboratory skills where applicable to the project, and familiarity with scientific protocols.Data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, statistical packages, or programming languages (e.g., R, Python) are preferred.Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in a relevant discipline (e.g., science, engineering, social sciences, information science).Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow research procedures accurately.Interest in research methodology, open science, and technology platforms that support academic work.
