This role involves supporting ongoing research projects through literature reviews, data collection, and basic data analysis under the guidance of senior researchers. The assistant will help maintain laboratory or workspace organization, prepare materials for experiments or studies, and accurately record observations and results. Day-to-day tasks include participating in team meetings, assisting with documentation for reports or presentations, and adhering to established protocols and safety procedures. The role also provides opportunities to learn new research methods, develop professional skills, and contribute to collaborative project outcomes.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Research and Analytical Skills to support experimental design, data interpretation, and problem-solving.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members, presenting findings, and documenting procedures clearly.Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills, including basic lab techniques, equipment handling, and adherence to safety standards (if applicable to the project).Candidates should possess Data Analysis skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets, statistical tools, or relevant software for organizing and analyzing results.Additional beneficial qualifications include attention to detail, time management, reliability in completing assigned tasks, and a demonstrated interest in scientific or technical research.Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program, preferably in a STEM or related discipline, and eligibility to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area are required.
