Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout GokhanaGokhana is a growing food-tech and workplace food solutions company focused on delivering high-quality food and hospitality experiences across corporate and institutional environments.About FoodWhispererFoodWhisperer is a subsidiary company of Gokhana, focused on providing professional food and hospitality services to corporate clients and large-scale workplaces.We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Unit Manager to manage day-to-day operations of our FoodWhisperer unit in Hoodi, Bengaluru.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the overall day-to-day operations of the assigned food service unit.Ensure smooth functioning of kitchen, service, housekeeping and support operations.Monitor food quality, taste, presentation and service standards.Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.Manage manpower planning, deployment, attendance and shift schedules.Lead, train and motivate kitchen and service teams to maintain operational standards.Monitor food consumption, wastage, inventory and operational costs.Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.Handle client interactions and address operational concerns and service-related issues.Monitor customer/employee feedback and implement corrective actions.Ensure adherence to SOPs, company policies and client requirements.Conduct regular operational audits and ensure timely closure of observations.Prepare and share operational reports, manpower reports and other MIS as required.Coordinate with the HR, Procurement, Finance, Quality and Operations teams.Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and cost control.Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational challenges.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business Administration or a related field.4–7 years of relevant experience in food service, QSR, institutional catering, corporate catering, hospitality or similar operations.Experience managing a team and handling end-to-end unit operations.Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and FSSAI compliance.Good understanding of manpower planning, inventory control and cost management.Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate food-service environment.Candidates who have experience handling corporate cafeterias / institutional catering / large-volume food operations will be preferred.Candidates should be comfortable working from Hoodi, Bengaluru.Key SkillsUnit Operations | Food Service Operations | Team Management | Manpower Planning | FSSAI | Food Safety & Hygiene | Inventory Management | Cost Control | Client Management | MIS Reporting | SOP Compliance | Vendor CoordinationWhy Join Us?Join FoodWhisperer, a subsidiary of Gokhana, and be part of a growing organization that is transforming workplace food and hospitality experiences through technology, operational excellence and customer-focused service.
