Apply & track with Apply EdgeOur portfolio spans casual and social games, with a focus on engaging gameplay, culturally relevant experiences, and scalable game systems.We are looking for a talented Unity Game Developer to join our team in Riyadh and contribute to the development, optimization, and LiveOps of our current and upcoming mobile games.Position SummaryAs a Unity Game Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality mobile games and gameplay systems using Unity and C#. You will work closely with game designers, artists, backend developers, and the LiveOps team to take features from concept through implementation, testing, release, and ongoing improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain mobile games using Unity and C#.Build gameplay mechanics, game systems, UI interactions, animations, and other game features.Translate game designs, prototypes, and technical requirements into clean and functional implementations.Develop reusable and modular components that can be efficiently used across different games and projects.Integrate APIs, backend services, analytics, authentication, social features, and third-party SDKs.Implement monetization systems including in-app purchases, advertisements, virtual currencies, rewards, and game economy features.Support LiveOps, including events, offers, content updates, configuration-driven features, and ongoing game improvements.Optimize games for performance, memory usage, loading time, and different Android/iOS devices.Work with artists to integrate 2D/3D assets, animations, VFX, UI, and audio into Unity.Collaborate with QA to ensure game stability and release quality.Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, scalable, well-documented code.Support App Store and Google Play build, testing, and release processes.QualificationsStrong professional experience with Unity and C#.Experience developing and releasing mobile games for iOS and/or Android.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles.Good understanding of Unity architecture, prefabs, scenes, ScriptableObjects, UI, animation, physics, and asset management.Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party SDKs.Understanding of mobile game performance optimization and profiling.Experience with Git or other version-control systems.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary game development team.Good communication skills and ability to work in English.What We’re Looking For?Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone who understands games as products, not only as software.
