The company offers both outsourcing and consulting models, giving clients flexible options to meet their technical and business needs.Role Description The Unity Networking Programmer role at NTG Clarity is an on-site position based in Cairo. This role focuses on developing, integrating, and optimizing networking features within Unity-based applications and games, ensuring stable, secure, and scalable multiplayer functionality. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing networked gameplay systems, writing and maintaining clean and efficient C# code, debugging and resolving network performance issues, and collaborating with designers and other developers to align networking logic with gameplay requirements. The Unity Networking Programmer also participates in code reviews, documents technical solutions, and supports deployment and maintenance of networked services.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Unity game engine and C# programming, with experience implementing multiplayer and networking features.Knowledge of networking concepts such as client-server architecture, synchronization, latency management, and data serialization.Ability to work with RESTful APIs, sockets, and common network protocols relevant to real-time applications.Experience with performance optimization, profiling, and debugging of networked systems in Unity.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams.Experience in telecom, networking, or large-scale infrastructure environments is an asset.Fluency in English; additional language skills are considered an advantage.
