This role includes assisting customers with deposits and withdrawals, opening and maintaining accounts, and accurately handling cash transactions throughout the day. The Universal Banker also supports customers with consumer loan inquiries and applications, providing clear information on products and guiding them through the approval process. Day-to-day responsibilities involve responding to customer questions, resolving issues, promoting bank services, and maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires consistent, professional communication with customers and colleagues to ensure a welcoming, efficient branch environment.Qualifications Ability to manage deposit-related activities, including opening accounts and processing transactions, with accuracy and attention to detail.Strong customer service skills focused on building relationships, resolving concerns, and delivering a positive in-branch experience.Proficiency in cash handling, including balancing a cash drawer, following security procedures, and reconciling transactions.Basic knowledge of consumer loans and related banking products, with the ability to explain options and assist with applications.Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and team members.Previous experience in retail banking, customer-facing financial services, or a related field preferred.Comfort with using banking software, digital tools, and standard office applications to complete daily tasks.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related area is beneficial.Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and willingness to learn bank policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
