Department: University CounsellingExperience: 5+ years preferredNOW CLASSES is expanding its academic services and launching a dedicated University Counselling Division to support students applying to leading universities across the USA, Canada and Australia.We are looking for an experienced and student-focused University Counsellor who can guide students and families throughout the complete university admissions journey.Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel students on university, course and career optionsDevelop personalised university shortlists based on academic profile, interests, budget and career goalsManage undergraduate applications for the USA, Canada and AustraliaGuide students through application requirements, essays/personal statements and supporting documentsAdvise on scholarships and financial-aid opportunitiesSupport students with interviews and admissions preparationConduct one-to-one counselling sessions with students and parentsTrack applications, deadlines and offersCommunicate with university admissions and international officesDevelop and maintain relationships with universitiesCoordinate university visits, webinars, fairs and information sessionsHelp build and expand the NOW CLASSES University Counselling DivisionRequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in university counselling, international admissions or a related fieldStrong knowledge of US, Canadian and Australian undergraduate admissionsExperience counselling international studentsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong parent/student counselling abilityAbility to independently manage multiple student applicationsGood understanding of different curricula such as IB, IGCSE and A LevelsExperience with:Competitive courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Business and LawScholarships and financial aidInternational school studentsUniversity partnershipsUniversity fairs and institutional relationshipsUAE/GCC student counsellingWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is not simply an application processor.The ideal candidate should be able to assess a student's complete profile, create an appropriate university strategy, counsel the family realistically and manage the student through the entire admissions process.Someone with an established network of universities and experience developing institutional partnerships would be particularly valuable.What NOW CLASSES OffersOpportunity to build and lead a new University Counselling DivisionExposure to students from diverse international curriculaOpportunity to develop relationships with universities globallyProfessional growth within a growing education organisationCompetitive salary with performance incentivesTo apply:Please send your CV along with a brief summary of your experience in US, Canadian and Australian university admissions and the number/type of students you have counselled.
