Van Lang University is committed to providing a structured, compliant, and student-centered learning environment that aligns with national education standards.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site University Lecturer role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Lecturer will design and deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, including preparing syllabi, lectures, assignments, and examinations that align with departmental and institutional standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include teaching in classrooms and lecture halls, conducting student consultations, grading assessments, and providing timely feedback to learners. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, contributing to academic advising, engaging in scholarly or applied research, and supporting departmental initiatives, committees, and events. The Lecturer is expected to collaborate with colleagues, uphold academic integrity, and contribute to a positive, inclusive academic environment.Qualifications Advanced academic qualification (preferably a Master’s degree or PhD) in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.Demonstrated teaching skills, including course planning, lecture delivery, assessment design, and student mentoring.Strong communication and presentation abilities, with proficiency in English and/or Vietnamese appropriate for university-level instruction.Research or scholarly experience, such as publications, conference presentations, or applied projects, and willingness to engage in ongoing academic development.Ability to use educational technologies and learning management systems to support classroom and blended learning.Organizational and time-management skills to handle teaching loads, grading, and departmental responsibilities effectively.Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and support for diverse student populations.Prior university-level teaching experience in Vietnam or internationally is highly desirable.
