You will encourage critical thinking, independent learning, and active participation while creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The role also involves collaborating with academic colleagues on curriculum development, course reviews, assessment design, and academic activities. Depending on the discipline and institutional requirements, you may also contribute to research, scholarly activities, professional engagement, and community or industry partnerships. Strong communication, teaching, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.## Qualifications* Master’s degree or doctoral qualification in the relevant academic discipline or a closely related field.* Strong knowledge of the subject area and current developments within the discipline.* Understanding of higher education teaching principles, curriculum design, assessment methods, and student-centered learning.* Ability to develop engaging lectures, tutorials, learning materials, assessments, and other educational resources.* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.* Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students from diverse academic backgrounds.* Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage teaching, assessment, and administrative responsibilities.* Ability to use learning management systems, digital teaching platforms, presentation tools, and other educational technologies.* Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a commitment to academic quality and continuous improvement.* Ability to provide constructive, timely, and objective feedback on student work.* Commitment to academic integrity, professional ethics, inclusive teaching practices, and student development.* Willingness to contribute to curriculum development, academic collaboration, research, scholarly activities, or professional engagement where required.
