URGENT HIRING Autism Independence Program Lead 65-85/hour

We're building something new.Our Autism Independence Program is a non-clinical service model focused on helping autistic teens and adults build real-world independence, confidence, self-regulation, communication skills, and quality of life.We are seeking an experienced Autism Independence Program Lead to oversee a small team of Autism Independence Specialists while helping shape and grow a new service line from the ground up.What You'll Do:Lead and support a team of 4-5 Autism Independence SpecialistsDevelop individualized independence support plansCoach and mentor direct support staffCollaborate closely with familiesSupport clients with moderate to high support needsHelp staff navigate challenging behaviors safely and respectfullyParticipate in developing systems, training tools, and program protocolsPreferred:BCBA certificationMaster's degree in a related fieldExperience supervising RBTs, DSPs, autism specialists, or direct care teamsExperience with adult transition programs, supported living, or community inclusion servicesSchedule:Start at approximately 5-10 hours per weekTypical weekday availability between 2:00 PM-7:00 PMOccasional weekend availabilityRequirements4+ years working directly with autistic individuals3+ years working with autistic teens and/or adultsExperience supporting individuals with high support needs and severe behaviorsExperience creating individualized support, behavior, transition, or life skills plansExperience training, mentoring, coaching, or supervising staffStrong communication and family collaboration skillsReliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout North County San DiegoBenefits$65-$85/hour depending on credentials, experience, and fit.If you're excited about helping build an innovative autism independence program and growing into a long-term leadership role, we'd love to hear from you.
