This position coordinates daily truck routes across the United States, assigning loads, monitoring driver locations, and adjusting schedules to ensure on-time deliveries. The dispatcher communicates regularly with drivers, clients, and carriers to resolve issues, manage delays, and maintain clear, professional updates. Day-to-day responsibilities include using dispatch and mapping software, tracking shipments, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate records of routes, hours, and load statuses.
