User Experience Designer

Title: UX/UI Designer – Vehicle Digital ExperienceIndustry: Automotive

Location: Ohio (Hybrid/Onsite)Duration: ContractPay Rate: $45We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to help shape the next generation of in-vehicle digital experiences.

This role will focus on designing intuitive, user-centered interfaces for vehicle displays, connected vehicle features, and digital cockpit experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for creating seamless digital interactions and thrives in a collaborative environment working alongside product, engineering, and design teams.

Responsibilities

Design user experiences and user interfaces for in-vehicle digital products, displays, and connected vehicle experiences.Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that support user needs and business objectives.Develop interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma and ProtoPie to communicate and validate design concepts.Collaborate closely with UX researchers, product managers, engineers, and vehicle design teams throughout the design process.Apply user-centered design principles to translate complex requirements into intuitive and engaging experiences.Contribute to and maintain design systems, interaction patterns, and visual standards.Participate in design reviews, stakeholder presentations, and usability discussions.Required Qualifications:Experience in UX/UI Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design methodologies and end-to-end design work.Proficiency with Figma and experience creating interactive prototypes.Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, usability principles, and design systems.Ability to communicate design concepts effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Experience working within complex digital ecosystems and technical product environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Automotive, transportation, hardware, IoT, or connected device experience.Experience with ProtoPie or similar advanced prototyping tools.Familiarity with designing digital experiences for embedded systems, vehicle interfaces, or other complex interactive platforms.No C2C or third-party recruiters.The salary range for this position is $45/hr.
