Key Responsibilities

Design Projects: Create interactive prototypes for websites and design system components and patterns. Refine designs based on user testing, feedback, and usability data. Iterate on components and patterns to ensure optimal user experiences.Design Leadership: Guide external designers, promoting our user experience philosophy, guidelines, and best practices for design system components.Foster a Culture of Collaboration and Feedback: Provide design reviews and gather feedback from both internal and external teams to ensure design excellence and alignment.Ensure Accessibility and Inclusivity: Advocate for inclusive design practices, ensuring that the system adheres to accessibility standards and meets the needs of diverse users.Assist with Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the design system, including component guidelines, usage instructions, and best practices to support designers and developers.Design System File Ownership & Maintenance: Maintain and evolve our design system in Figma, keeping components, patterns, and documentation up to date.Required / Desired SkillsProfessional UX design experiencePortfolio demonstrating interaction design, prototyping, and component design workProficiency in FigmaUnderstanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practicesComfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, other designers)Experience with user testing and iterative design processesFamiliarity with design systems and component-based design thinkingExperience working with accessibility standards (WCAG, inclusive design)Understanding of design tokens or design system toolingSheetal AgarwalAmerican Business Solutions Inc8850 Whitney DriveLewis Center, OH 43035Cell : 614-541-3190Work : 614-888-2227 Ext. 4692 Fax: 888-699-8866Mail to: sheetal@absiusa.com
