Due to ongoing growth and commitment to their strategic plans, the business requires a User Researcher to join the central UCD teamThe User Researcher will be responsible for designing and conducting user research as part of a team effort to deliver great funding products. They will be responsible for identifying the best method based on research goals and resources, helping to establish and amplify the discipline of user research, and championing user-centred approaches.The User Researcher is responsible for all aspects of research (planning, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting) for both generative (participatory design) and evaluative (usability testing) research. You will be using a variety of user testing methodologies to reveal actionable customer insights. You will also be comfortable working with data, from gathering and analysis through to design and presentation.Key duties and responsibilities
- Carrying out user research activities from recruiting participants, preparing discussion guides, and moderating research sessions.
- Effectively work with colleagues to plan and do continuous user research in a multidisciplinary team
- Leading colleagues to analyse research data and synthesise clear and actionable findings, including working closely with colleagues to create a rich picture of user behaviour.
- Communicating user research findings to help the team and wider organisation develop a deep understanding of users and their needs - including presentations at show and tells, designing and maintaining research outputs and creating formal reports.The role comes with a competitive salary range (£35k to £40k) along with excellent benefits.Location options - Birmingham, Belfast, Edinburgh, Exeter, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Nottingham
