The Utilities Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable supply of utilities such as electricity, water, and gas in compliance with regulatory standards. The incumbent in this role handles troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades, while ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance across the utility infrastructure.Job Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of utility systems, including electricity, water, and gas.Monitor system performance and identify and address any issues or abnormalities.Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for utility equipment and infrastructure.Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruptions.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards related to utility operations.Keep abreast of industry regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.Assist in the development of budgets for utility operations and maintenance.Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.Lead and supervise a team of utility technicians and operators.Provide training and guidance to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.Develop and implement emergency response plans for utility-related incidents.Coordinate with relevant authorities and teams during emergencies.Maintain accurate records of utility consumption, system performance, and maintenance activities.Prepare regular reports for management on utility operations.Functional / Technical Competencies:Technical expertise in managing utility systems such as water, electricity, gas, and HVAC, ensuring their proper functioning and maintenance.Excel in team leadership, scheduling, and overseeing the daily operations of utility systems to ensure efficiency and safety.Strong problem-solving, budgeting, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations are essential for managing resources effectively.
