UX Design & Research Consultant

General DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced UX Design & Research Consultant to support a leading organization in the Banking / Financial Services sector on a short-term remote engagement.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in UX Design, User Research, Usability Testing, User-Centered Design, and Stakeholder Engagement.The role requires a confident, proactive professional with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently, collaborating with stakeholders, and handling direct feedback in a fast-paced environment. Banking or FinTech experience is preferred but not mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver UX Design and User Research activities to improve digital user experiences.Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and user research to understand user needs and behaviors.Translate research findings into actionable UX recommendations and design improvements.Develop user journeys, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes as required.Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align UX solutions with business objectives.Present research insights, communicate design decisions, and confidently manage stakeholder feedback.Required ExperienceStrong hands-on experience in UX Design and User Experience Research.Experience conducting User Interviews, Usability Testing, and Qualitative Research.Good understanding of User-Centered Design, User Journey Mapping, and UX best practices.Ability to translate user research findings into practical UX improvements.Familiarity with Figma or similar UX design and prototyping tools.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.Confident, assertive, adaptable personality with the ability to handle direct feedback.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, short-term consulting engagement.Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience in Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services.Experience working on digital banking platforms, mobile applications, or enterprise digital products.Previous experience in remote consulting or contract-based UX projects.Work SetupRole: UX Design & Research Consultant
