PortfolioFuture is driven by the belief that better solutions deserve a fair chance to succeed.Role Description This remote UX Developer internship role focuses on creating intuitive, visually clear interfaces that help users understand complex fund and portfolio insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and research teams to translate analytical concepts into user-friendly designs, implementing front-end components, and refining interactions based on feedback. The intern will prototype new features, conduct basic usability reviews, and iterate on layouts and visual elements to improve usability and accessibility. This is an internship role that provides hands-on experience in a data-driven, finance-oriented product environment while contributing directly to user experience improvements.Qualifications Front-End Development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks suitable for building interactive interfaces.Visual Design capabilities, such as layout design, typography, color theory, and creating clean, data-focused UI elements.User Experience (UX) and User Experience Design (UED) skills, including wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and basic usability evaluation.Foundational Software Development skills, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, and working within collaborative development workflows.Interest in or familiarity with financial products, data visualization, or analytics tools is beneficial.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and incorporate feedback from multidisciplinary teams.Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field is preferred.
