product quality and equipment performance.𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞Palomba General Trading LLC is looking for a Vacuum Process & Deaeration Engineer – Mixing & Liquid Systems to support technically demanding industrial process-equipment projects across the UAE and GCC markets.The role will focus on vacuum-assisted processing technologies used for mixing, deaeration, emulsification, homogenisation, product transfer and the removal of entrained or dissolved gases from industrial formulations.The successful candidate will work with industrial customers, process engineers and international equipment manufacturers to define vacuum-process requirements and support the technical evaluation of suitable equipment and process configurations.Applications may include food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, flavour, ingredient and specialty-process manufacturing.𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬• Analyse customer requirements involving vacuum processing and deaeration.• Evaluate the need to remove entrained air, dissolved gases or foam from products.• Support the technical definition of vacuum levels and process conditions.• Evaluate vacuum requirements for mixing vessels and integrated process systems.• Review the interaction between product viscosity, temperature and vacuum performance.• Support technical selection of vacuum pumps and associated equipment.• Evaluate system evacuation times and vacuum capacity requirements.• Support applications involving vacuum mixing and vacuum homogenisation.• Review process requirements for foaming or air-sensitive formulations.• Evaluate the effect of vacuum on product density, appearance, stability and final quality.• Support deaeration of emulsions, suspensions, syrups, creams and viscous formulations.• Review requirements involving vacuum-assisted powder incorporation.• Support technical discussions regarding condensers, receivers, separators and vacuum lines.• Evaluate potential carry-over of product into vacuum systems.• Support design considerations relating to vessel sealing and vacuum integrity.• Review instrumentation requirements including vacuum transmitters and pressure sensors.• Support integration of vacuum systems with mixers, homogenisers, pumps and process vessels.• Assist in defining operating sequences for vacuum-assisted batch processing.• Support pilot trials and technical evaluation of vacuum-process performance.• Participate in FAT, SAT or commissioning review where applicable.• Support technical troubleshooting involving insufficient vacuum, foaming, gas entrainment or unstable looking for a genuinely technical engineer with strong understanding of vacuum-process behaviour and industrial equipment.The ideal candidate should understand that vacuum processing is not simply “removing air”.Candidates should be able to consider pressure, temperature, gas load, product properties, foaming behaviour, vacuum-system capacity and equipment configuration when evaluating a process.Practical experience with industrial mixing, liquid processing, vacuum systems or process equipment is particularly valuable.Candidates whose professional experience is predominantly general sales, administration or non-technical business development are unlikely to be suitable.𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Food Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial engineering experience preferred.Practical knowledge of vacuum systems or vacuum-assisted industrial processing.Understanding of pumps, vessels, piping and instrumentation.Ability to interpret P&IDs and equipment specifications.Knowledge of pressure and vacuum measurement.Strong analytical
