MEAT PRODUCTION MANAGER, EASTERN CAPER290-350 000 tctc Neg.Matric/N.D.Prod.Mngt/Food Tech; Comp.lit. Must have 5-10 years of experience of value-added meat processing/ workplace housekeeping/ temperature control / product specifications/ hygiene/ HMS & HACCP principals/ staff supervision/ maintenance/ IT application/ regulations & client guidelines/ customer relations. Self-development/ knowledge enhancement i.r.o. this position. Must evaluate/ decide on all Departmental operational aspects/ analyse / create/ develop new systems/ continuous improvement with GM & Director based on vision/ strategy / capex limitations/ do horizontal/ inter-departmental/ vertical/ up & down communication re. all responsibilities/ monitor/ report to G.M.& Director. Manage / plan/ control/ organise staff/ production/ hygiene/ maintenance/ waste. Must apply/ control/ measure all systems/ know all Acts/ customer & co. guidelines/ requirements/ implementation/ manage/ control/ train staff to ensure efficient workflow/ knowledge. Understand/ conform organogram/ all docs/ ensure accurate / immediate docs control/ manage info/ admin support on all aspects. Order stock/ maintain supplier relationship/ stock on hand/ reporting. Produce/ maintain products to agreed standards/ specs/ QC of all products/ workmanship. Understand/ have full working/ cleaning knowledge of all equipment/ all operational/ production systems. Overseeing Food Safety Standards & Hygiene/ Health and Safety management with the Health and Safety Officer. Financial budgeting/ control of all operational aspects re. capex and projects/ maintain/ repair premises/ equipment/ ensure maintenance job cards issued/ completed. Understand/ have full working knowledge of all delegates’ Job Descriptions/ Work Instructions/ recruit/ assess/ train/ manage/ team building of direct–reporting staff.
