The role calls for a dynamic leader who drives product innovation and owns the full product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, in line with the UAE market.

Responsibilities

Define the Product Vision, Strategy and product market fit and create a product roadmap for VAS in UAE market.Specify and oversee the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customersParticipate in and lead customer focus groups for collecting insights Use market research and insights to create ideas for products in alignment with customers’ needsCreate and supervise Go to market strategy.Assist in overseeing the design and manufacture and planning how to market and promote the product to the publicDefine product marketing communication objectivesMonitor the competitor companies, compare the company’s products to the market, and enhance as neededProvide management with analyses and reports on different product related updates and workflowsLead, oversee and coordinate the work of product owners

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Information Systems, Data Analysis or a related field.10+ years in the software sector, including 5+ years in fintech, banking or digital payments.Solid experience in payments and VAS, with a good understanding of local and international payments.Experience in business solution design, data analysis and integration.Hands-on experience with product analytics.Agile delivery experience using Jira and Confluence.Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships at all levels of management, inside and outside Geidea, and manages remote stakeholders effectively.Proven record of delivering complex initiatives with outstanding results.Flexible to work UAE working hours and to travel to the UAE when needed.Excellent command of EnglishAbility to manage remote teams and stakeholders effectively.Nice to have:Knowledge of fintech products in the UAE market.Experience in financial services and card issuance.Product Owner or Scrum Master certificate.Our values guide how we think and act - They describe what we care about the mostCustomer first - It’s embedded in our design thinking and customer service approachOpen - Openness allows us to constantly improve and evolveReal - No jargon and no excuses!Bold - Constantly challenging ourselves and our way of thinking.Resilient – If we fail, we bounce back stronger than before.Collaborative - We know that we can achieve a lot more as a team.We are changing lives by constantly striving for a better solution.
