VAT Manager

Job Title – VAT ManagerType – OutsourcedDuration – 12 months extendableSalary – Upto AED 11000Work Location – DubaiMandatory – 5–8 years of relevant experience in VAT, taxation, finance, or accounting in Logistics/ Supply chain industry.Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end VAT compliance and reporting, including preparation and review of VAT returns and related submissions.Ensure accurate and timely VAT treatment of business transactions in line with UAE VAT regulations.Review VAT implications across logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, and supply chain transactions.Monitor VAT records, reconciliations, supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with internal controls.Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to identify and resolve VAT-related discrepancies and issues.Provide guidance on VAT treatment for invoices, imports/exports, intercompany transactions, and other business activities.Support VAT audits, assessments, queries, and information requests from tax authorities.Keep abreast of changes in UAE VAT legislation and assess their impact on business operations.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external tax advisors, where required, on VAT-related matters.Identify potential VAT risks and recommend appropriate controls and process improvements.Maintain proper VAT documentation and ensure readiness for audits and regulatory reviews.
