Job Title: Brake System Development EngineerLocation: Novi, MIJob Description:Scout Motors is seeking an experienced Brake System Development Engineer with 10+ years of experience in brake system development, validation, or testing within an OEM or Tier-1 supplier environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop, validate, and test automotive brake systems.Create and execute DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) activities.Perform brake performance, durability, NVH, and environmental validation testing.Conduct test execution, data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure brake system performance, quality, and compliance.Support issue investigation, root cause analysis, and continuous product improvements.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.10+ years of experience in automotive brake system development, validation, or testing.Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.Strong knowledge of DVP&R, brake performance testing, durability testing, and environmental validation.Experience with NVH testing, data acquisition, and test data analysis.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
