The workshop operates alongside the dealership to share the economic value created through upcycling with new vehicle owners, offering both quality and affordability.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Vehicle Mechanic & Auto Electrician role based in Dubai. The role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out repairs on a wide range of vehicles and, where applicable, heavy equipment. The team member will inspect vehicles, identify faults, and use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to ensure safe, reliable performance. Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate service records, and supporting workshop standards that align with Active Auto’s focus on quality and sustainability. The role may also involve guiding junior staff and coordinating work to meet deadlines and customer expectations.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair.Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic issues.Candidates should possess experience working with Heavy Equipment, where relevant to the workshop’s operations.Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills to guide junior technicians and support workflow coordination.Formal training or certification in automotive mechanics and auto electrical systems is highly desirable.Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and use diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently.Strong attention to safety, quality, and environmental best practices in the workshop.Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.Previous experience in a professional automotive workshop or dealership setting is an advantage.
