قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Vendor Management Supervisor to oversee and manage vendor relationships across a diversified business environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective vendor performance, contract compliance, service quality, and timely delivery across multiple business operations and projects.The role will serve as a key interface between the company and its vendors, ensuring that contractual obligations, service-level agreements, performance standards, and business requirements are consistently met. The successful candidate will also identify opportunities to improve vendor performance, reduce operational risks, optimize costs, and strengthen long-term supplier partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement vendor management strategies and frameworks aligned with business and operational objectives.Manage the end-to-end vendor management lifecycle, including vendor onboarding, performance monitoring, evaluation, development, renewal, and offboarding.Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, contractual obligations, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery timelines.Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and develop corrective and improvement action plans where required.Coordinate with operations, procurement, finance, engineering, project, and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective vendor performance and service delivery.Review and monitor vendor contracts, service agreements, scope of work, and commercial terms to ensure compliance.Identify and resolve vendor-related operational, commercial, and performance issues in a timely manner.Lead or support negotiations related to service improvements, pricing, contract renewals, variations, claims, and performance-related matters.Establish and maintain appropriate vendor performance dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPIs.Conduct periodic vendor assessments and risk reviews to identify potential supply, operational, financial, quality, or compliance risks.Ensure vendors comply with company policies, procedures, HSE requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.Support the procurement and commercial teams during vendor selection, tender evaluations, onboarding, and contract award processes.Identify opportunities for cost optimization, service improvement, process efficiency, and vendor consolidation.Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, contracts, performance documentation, and compliance certificates within ERP or vendor management systems.Manage vendor escalations and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve recurring performance issues.Support business continuity and contingency planning by identifying alternative vendors and mitigating critical vendor dependencies.Prepare periodic reports and management updates on vendor performance, risks, issues, savings, and improvement initiatives.Ensure proper governance and documentation of vendor-related activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.Minimum 6–8 years of experience in vendor management, supplier management, procurement, contract management, or a related field, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:Facilities ManagementConstructionInfrastructureEngineering ServicesInformation & Communication Technology (ICT)Operations & Maintenance (O&M)Manpower & OutsourcingGovernment or Semi-Government ProjectsStrong experience in vendor performance management, SLA/KPI monitoring, contract compliance, and supplier relationship management.Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing multiple vendors and service providers across different business functions or projects.Proficiency in ERP and business systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.Strong knowledge of vendor evaluation, performance scorecards, risk management, and continuous improvement practices.Ability to analyze vendor performance data and translate findings into practical improvement actions.Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or relevant vendor/supplier management certifications are considered an advantage.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience preparing management reports and performance dashboards.
