Secure reliable, compliant and cost-effective outsourced transportation capacity. Own vendor sourcing, onboarding, performance, risk and relationship management across the lifecycle, while improving service and outsourced cost. Vendor Management owns capacity and vendor performance; Procurement owns sourcing governance and contracts, Operations owns dispatch and execution, and Finance validates financial results and savings.ResponsibilitiesDevelop the sourcing strategy, market map and capacity forecast.Maintain a diversified vendor portfolio aligned with growth and service needs.Lead RFQs, commercial evaluations and negotiations with Procurement.Benchmark rates and track verified savings and cost avoidance.Allocate volumes based on service, cost and risk within delegated authority.Lead due diligence, onboarding and operational readiness.Maintain vendor master data, documents, rates and approved scope.Manage renewals, suspension and exit jointly with Procurement.Own vendor scorecards, reviews and performance-improvement plans.Resolve commercial and service disputes and escalate material exceptions.Identify and implement new outsourcing opportunities.Monitor concentration risk, continuity, insurance and contingency capacity.Enforce HSSE, regulatory, security and company-policy compliance.Maintain audit evidence and close governance gaps.Lead the Vendor Supervisor and set priorities and review cadence.Drive accountability and collaboration across vendors and internal teams.Qualifications & CompetenciesBachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business or a related fieldMore than 5 years of experienceRelevant transportation vendor-management or procurement experienceCIPS, CSCP or CLTD preferredStrong transport-market, tendering and negotiation capabilityContract, P&L and cost-management acumenAdvanced Excel; ERP/TMS and Power BI capabilityVendor risk, HSSE and compliance disciplineAnalytical problem-solving and commercial judgmentStakeholder, change and team leadership
