Job Title: Venture Building ConsultantRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Deep-Tech Venture Building Consultant with a proven track record of taking complex, lab-stage technologies and successfully spinning them off into high-potential startups. In this role, you won't just advise on the programs design and strategy—you will roll up your sleeves alongside researchers and inventors to co-develop their ventures and provided targeted coaching.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Design: Design and execute specialized venture-building programs that systematically advance high-TRL (Technology Readiness Level) research into investable spin-offs.Hands-On Co-Development: Act as an interim co-founder/builder for selected cohorts. Actively guide innovators through IP strategy, regulatory pathways, cap table structuring, and initial market validation.Specialized Coaching & Mentorship: Provide deep-tech-specific venture coaching, translating innovation into sharp commercial value propositions and preparing technical founders for institutional fundraising.Ecosystem & Investor Alignment: Bridge the gap between the lab and the market by connecting emerging startups with corporate partners, early-stage deep-tech investors, and industry-specific pilots.Qualifications & ExperienceDeep-Tech Track Record: Minimum 5–7 years of direct experience in deep-tech/hard-tech venture building, incubation, or startup studio operations, with documented success in spinning out university or corporate research.Founder/Operator Experience: Ideally, you have co-founded, led, or been an early executive at a deep-tech startup that successfully achieved market traction, corporate partnerships, or venture funding.Commercial Acumen: Mastery of tech transfer dynamics, deep-tech investment metrics, and corporate venture capital engagement models.
