Venture Capital Analyst / AssociateRole DescriptionWe are seeking a Venture Capital Analyst / Associate to support investment evaluation, market research, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision-making. In this role, you will conduct industry and company research, analyze market opportunities, evaluate business models, and assist in identifying high-potential investment opportunities across emerging and established sectors.The Venture Capital Analyst / Associate will be responsible for performing market research, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking, and commercial due diligence to support investment decisions. You will evaluate industry trends, analyze startup ecosystems, prepare investment memoranda, develop financial models, and monitor portfolio performance through data-driven analysis and reporting.This role involves collaborating with investment professionals, founders, and cross-functional stakeholders to assess market dynamics, review business strategies, and support portfolio management activities. You will contribute to pipeline development, maintain investment documentation, prepare presentations for internal discussions, and assist in evaluating strategic growth opportunities and investment risks.The ideal candidate is analytical, intellectually curious, and business-oriented, with strong research, financial, and problem-solving skills. Success in this role requires the ability to interpret complex business and financial information, manage multiple priorities, communicate insights effectively, and contribute to informed investment decisions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, startup ecosystems, and investment analysis principles.Knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, financial statement analysis, and market research methodologies.Familiarity with industry research, competitive analysis, commercial due diligence, and investment evaluation frameworks.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.Ability to conduct industry research, evaluate business models, and identify market trends and investment opportunities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare investment memoranda, reports, and presentations.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple research and investment initiatives.High attention to detail and commitment to analytical accuracy, confidentiality, and professional integrity.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and supporting informed investment and portfolio management decisions.
