Venue Manager

Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery and day-to-day operation of a major sporting event in RiyadhThe Venue Manager will act as the client's primary on-site representative, overseeing the venue from build and operational readiness through live event delivery and final dismantling. The role will coordinate multiple venue zones, operational teams, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the site is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.Key ResponsibilitiesTake overall ownership of venue operations and on-site delivery.Act as the main point of contact for the client and key venue stakeholders.Oversee venue preparation, build, operational readiness, live event operations, and dismantling.Coordinate across multiple venue zones, including guest areas, entertainment spaces, food and retail areas, and high-capacity audience zones.Lead and coordinate venue operations teams, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.Ensure the venue is safe, secure, operationally ready, and maintained to the required standards.Manage daily site coordination, issue resolution, and operational decision-making.Work closely with production, security, facilities, guest services, technical, HSE, and other event functions.Monitor site readiness and ensure all operational requirements are delivered in line with project timelines.Lead venue briefings, inspections, and operational meetings.Manage venue-related risks, incidents, escalations, and contingency requirements.Maintain strong communication with the client and provide regular updates on venue readiness and operations.Oversee the successful handover and close-out of the venue following the event.Required SkillsStrong client-facing and leadership skills.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.Experience Requirement10+ years of experience in venue management, site management, or event operations.Proven experience managing complex venues or sites for major events.Strong experience overseeing delivery from build through live operations and dismantling.Experience working in heritage, cultural, public-realm, or park environments is an advantage.Experience in large-scale or multi-zone events is highly desirable.Location / Work ModeRiyadh (Candidate must be based in Riyadh)Additional NotesPosition: Venue Manager Contract Duration: 15th Oct - 28th Feb 2027
