SAT Reading & Writing TrainerPosition TitleSAT Reading & Writing TrainerDepartmentAcademic Training / Test PreparationRole TypeFull-time (On-Site)GurugramAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented SAT Reading & Writing Trainer to prepare high school students for the SAT Digital Reading and Writing section. The trainer will be responsible for teaching core concepts, building test-taking strategies, improving reading comprehension and grammar skills, and helping students achieve strong SAT scores.The ideal candidate should have excellent command over English, strong understanding of SAT question types, and the ability to simplify complex reading and grammar concepts for students.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct structured SAT Reading and Writing classes for high school students.Help students improve accuracy, speed, comprehension, and time management.Create and deliver lesson plans, practice worksheets, quizzes, and mock tests.Analyze student performance and identify individual weak areas.Provide personalized feedback and improvement strategies.Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and revision classes as required.Track student progress through regular assessments and performance reports.Guide students on SAT test format, scoring pattern, question approach, and exam-day strategy.Coordinate with academic counsellors, parents, and team members to share student progress updates.Stay updated with the latest SAT Digital pattern, College Board updates, and testing trends.Required SkillsStrong command over English grammar, reading comprehension, and academic writing.Clear understanding of the Digital SAT Reading and Writing format.Ability to explain concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to evaluate student responses and provide constructive feedback.Good classroom management and student engagement skills.Comfortable with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom, or similar tools.Ability to create practice material and customized study plans.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, Literature, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field.Prior experience in SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL, AP English, or other standardized test preparation is preferred.Experience working with high school students will be an added advantage.Preferred Experience1–3 years of experience in SAT Reading and Writing training.Familiarity with College Board-style questions and Digital SAT practice platforms.Experience in one-on-one and group training formats.Ability to handle students with different learning levels and target scores.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should be structured, patient, and strategy driven. They should be able to help students not only understand English concepts but also apply them effectively in a timed test environment. The trainer should focus on building confidence, accuracy, and independent problem-solving skills in students.Expected OutcomeThe SAT Reading & Writing Trainer will help students strengthen their verbal reasoning, grammar, comprehension, and test-taking skills, ultimately supporting them in achieving their target SAT scores.
