Vessel Accountant

We're partnered with an established tanker operator in Dubai who are appointing a Vessel Accountant (Vessel Running Costs).You'll take ownership of the vendor side of the fleet's accounts: handling invoices for goods and services supplied to the vessels, reconciling vendor statements of account, posting entries and payments, arranging vendor payments, chasing final invoices against advances, and producing regular and ad hoc reports on vessel running costs and payables.A Dubai based, office role with an attractive package: competitive base salary, annual housing allowance, a bonus of up to 3x monthly salary, annual ticket, medical, visa and relocation support.We're talking to candidates with at least 1 year of hands-on vessel running cost (OPEX) accounting experience, ideally on tankers, gained with a shipowner or ship manager, and a clear understanding of how vessel running costs are structured.Not a general corporate accounting background.If this is you, or someone in your network, get in touch.
