Located in Al Dana Tower A, Abu Dhabi, the clinic is committed to personalized care that supports both pets and their families.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based at Pet Well Veterinary Clinic Abu Dhabi. The Veterinarian will perform routine health check-ups, diagnose and treat medical conditions, and provide vaccinations and preventive care for dogs and cats. Daily responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic tests (laboratory, radiology, ultrasound), performing dental procedures and soft tissue surgeries, and managing emergency, shock, and trauma cases. The role involves advising clients on pet nutrition, weight management, and overall wellness, as well as completing medical records and pet travel documentation. The Veterinarian will collaborate closely with the clinical team to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and client communication.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong clinical skills in companion animal internal medicine, preventive care, and routine health examinations.Candidates should possess skills in diagnostics and procedures, including laboratory interpretation, digital X-rays, ultrasound, dental care, and soft tissue surgery.Candidates should possess abilities in emergency care and critical case management, including trauma assessment, shock management, and postoperative monitoring.Candidates should possess communication and client service skills, including clear case explanation, compassionate client support, and ethical decision-making.Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including accurate medical record-keeping, prescription management, and preparation of pet travel certificates and related documentation.Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the UAE.Previous experience in small animal practice, particularly in dogs and cats, is highly beneficial; experience in a busy clinical or emergency setting is an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary veterinary team and maintain a calm, professional approach in high-pressure situations.Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to current veterinary best practices and infection control standards.
