Located in Al Dana Tower A, Abu Dhabi, the clinic is easily accessible to pet guardians seeking reliable, attentive veterinary care.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Nurse role based at Pet Well Veterinary Clinic in Abu Dhabi. The Veterinary Nurse will assist veterinarians in providing clinical care, including patient intake, monitoring, and treatment for dogs and cats. Daily responsibilities include preparing animals for examinations and surgery, administering medications, supporting anesthetic procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves performing routine laboratory tests, helping with imaging procedures, and ensuring proper cleaning and sterilization of equipment and clinical areas. The Veterinary Nurse will educate clients on pet care, nutrition, post-operative instructions, and preventive health, while contributing to a calm, compassionate, and safe environment for patients and clients.Qualifications Strong Veterinary Nursing skills, with experience in clinical support and surgical assistance.Demonstrated Animal Care and Pet Care skills, including handling, restraint, and welfare-focused caregiving.Competence in Anesthesiology support, including monitoring patients before, during, and after anesthesia.Applied Laboratory Skills, such as sample collection, basic diagnostic testing, and accurate record-keeping.Relevant veterinary nursing diploma or degree, and eligibility to work as a veterinary nurse in the UAE.Knowledge of small animal medicine and surgery, ideally within a companion animal clinic setting.Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to explain medical information to clients in an accessible way.Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or extended hours as needed to support emergency and routine care.Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital in Abu Dhabi or the wider region is an advantage.
