Day-to-day responsibilities include performing a range of surgeries, conducting consultations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure effective patient care. The role involves advising clients on preventative medicine, long-term health plans, and treatment options, while maintaining accurate clinical records and supporting a culture of continuous improvement. The Veterinary Surgeon will also engage with technology-enabled tools to enhance clinical workflows and patient outcomes. This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based in Ashford, Kent.QualificationsRelevant veterinary degree (e.g., MRCVS or equivalent) and eligibility for professional registration.Experience in small animal practice and confidence working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.Strong communication, empathy, and client education abilities, with a commitment to animal welfare and ethical practice.Comfort using practice management systems and diagnostic technologies, with an interest in innovation and sustainable practice.
