قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجOverviewWe are seeking for a highly competent Captain to join our Quality Assurance and Compliance Unit.Quality Assurance and Compliance Unit is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of vessels that support numerous Saudi Aramco departments, which include, but are not limited to Terminal, Producing, Drilling & Workover (D&WO), and Industrial Security. QA&CU has teams that operate permanently out of Ras Tanura and West Pier and frequently send QA&CU captains to Abu Ali Pier, Juaymah Pier, Duba, Jeddah and JizanYour primary role is to conduct vessel inspections such as on-hire inspections, safety inspections, return to service inspections, as well as industry best practice inspections. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Company instructions, recommendations and findings, and providing expert knowledge for technical reviews for Marine Department vessel procurements.The work schedule will be 42 days on/21 days off, with Company paid travel and vacation.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:Conduct vessel inspections such as on-hire inspections, return to service inspections, safety inspections, drill audits and comprehensive environmental health assessments.Conduct navigation audits, offshore assessments and industry best practice inspections such as OVID.Perform incident investigation and recommendation close-outs.Maintain and review the Department’s safety management systems.Maintain and review the Offshore Manual.Minimum requirementsYou will hold a STCW II/2 Master Mariner Unlimited License, from a recognized marine academy or nautical college. A degree in nautical science is preferred.You will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the offshore oil and gas industry and at least 2 years working as a Captain.You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a team.You must be able to communicate fluently in both oral and written English.
