Role DescriptionThe Vice President – Compliance is responsible for leading the organization’s compliance framework and ensuring that business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. The role provides strategic leadership on compliance matters and works closely with senior management and key business functions to promote a strong culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining compliance policies, frameworks, procedures, and controls; monitoring regulatory developments; assessing compliance risks; and providing guidance on regulatory and policy requirements. The Vice President will oversee compliance monitoring, reviews, investigations, reporting, and remediation activities while ensuring that identified issues are addressed appropriately and in a timely manner.The role also involves advising senior leadership and relevant stakeholders on compliance risks and regulatory obligations, supporting internal and external audits, coordinating with regulatory authorities where required, and preparing compliance reports for senior management and relevant governance committees. The position will also contribute to training and awareness programs designed to strengthen compliance knowledge and ethical standards across the organization.The Vice President – Compliance is expected to provide independent and objective oversight, identify emerging regulatory risks, strengthen internal controls, and support continuous improvement of the organization’s compliance environment.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related discipline.Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks.Good understanding of applicable laws, industry regulations, compliance standards, and ethical requirements.Strong analytical, risk assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence senior management and cross-functional teams.Ability to develop and implement effective compliance policies, procedures, monitoring programs, and control frameworks.Strong understanding of compliance reporting, investigations, audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation processes.High level of integrity, independence, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical judgment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex regulatory matters clearly to senior stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple compliance priorities effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant compliance, risk, or governance systems.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
