The business is investing in a major push toward automation, modernization, and secure adoption of emerging technology, and security is central to that agenda.This is not an oversight role. You will take an established security function to its next level of maturity, own strategy, budget, and governance, and set the direction for architecture and tooling across the enterprise. The environment demands a leader who stays close to the work, engages directly when something significant breaks, and carries enough technical credibility to challenge engineers, vendors, and the assumptions behind a recommendation.What You'll DoOwn enterprise cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, budget, and governanceLead and develop an established cybersecurity teamDrive Zero Trust architecture across identity, network, endpoint, data, and cloudSet security tooling direction across SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, IAM, and email and cloud securityLead monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident responseEvaluate security technologies, service providers, and external partnersLead third party and supply chain security risk managementGovern the secure adoption of enterprise AI and automation initiativesReport security posture and risk to executive leadershipWhat We're Looking For10+ years in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in a leadership roleDemonstrated experience building and advancing enterprise security programs and Zero Trust architectures in regulated or publicly traded environmentsStrong technical foundation across infrastructure, cloud, and network environmentsHands-on familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and IAM technologiesExperience governing cloud and SaaS securityExperience communicating cybersecurity posture and risk to executive leadership or an audit committeeCISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CRISC requiredPreferred ExperiencePublic company or highly regulated industry backgroundExperience defining governance for enterprise AI adoptionThis is a hands-on leadership seat with real budget authority, direct executive visibility, and the mandate to shape a security program rather than maintain one.
