Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition Summary:The Vice President of Human Resources serves as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team and is responsible for leading all aspects of the company's human capital strategy. This executive will drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, leadership development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance while supporting the growth and operational objectives of the manufacturing organization.The VP of Human Resources will foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing locations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute a comprehensive human resources strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to build organizational capability and drive business performance.Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent management.Lead change management initiatives associated with growth, acquisitions, operational improvements, and organizational transformation.Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningDevelop and implement recruiting strategies to attract and retain high-performing talent across manufacturing, operations, engineering, sales, and corporate functions.Build talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs.Establish workforce planning processes that align labor requirements with business objectives.Employee Engagement & CultureChampion a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.Develop programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall employee experience.Partner with leadership to strengthen communication, employee recognition, and organizational effectiveness.Compensation, Benefits & Performance ManagementOversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business goals.Lead performance management processes that drive accountability and results.Utilize market data and analytics to support compensation decisions and workforce investments.Employee Relations & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Lead employee relations matters and provide guidance on complex personnel issues.Maintain policies, procedures, and HR practices that mitigate risk and support business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.10+ years of progressive human resources leadership experience, including senior HR leadership within a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and organizational development.Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive organizational change.Experience building high-performing teams and developing future leaders.SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
